Technovacsystem Ltd. is established in 1990. The company conforms the requirements for a small and medium scientific-production enterprise.
The company’s main business is solving out technical problems of science applying and applying nature set by the current operating economy. Ready developed technological products, including equipment and know-how are available for deployment in networks of production enterprises. A range of technological sequences for ion chemical heat treatment and high pressure gas quenching has been developed.

 

     

The vacuum furnaces and installations for coatings deposition are equipped with a microprocessor and a sensor display needed for the automation and the monitoring of the entire process.


Additionally mounted modules give a possibility for:
- connection with a computer network (Ethernet);
- connection with Internet;
- SMS communication.
The company disposes of manufacturing sections where are mounted operative installations – own development. They serve for demonstrating the possibilities, as well as for undertaking commissions from customers.

 

     

In the period 2004 - 2008 on Technovacsystem Ltd. has developed and successfully complete the following scientific and applying research projects financed under the PHARE program of the European Union and the National Innovation Fund of Bulgaria:

     

• "Technology for obtaining new materials with high hydrogen storing capacity"
As a result, the project created conditions for obtaining and testing of new materials with high hydrogen storing capacity. A hydrogen tank on the basis of metal hidridi was made.

 

     

"Technologies for multycomponent metal nanocoatings deposition on instruments”


Hybrid vacuum technologies and installations for electric arc evaporation and magnetron sputtering have been created. Depending on the purpose of the articles and the technological necessity a successive shift from electric arc evaporation to magnetron sputtering mode is carried out.

 

Cleaning products is done indefectively in terms of smoldering pulse discharge. Statistical models of technology for deposition of three-component nanosized wear-resistant coatings on tools are created. An adopter of the development is a network of manufacturing enterprises in the field of engineering.

     

• “Development of technological processes for proton exchange membrane hydrogen fuel cells production”


A proton exchange membrane hydrogen fuel cell prototype based on technologies developed under the project was made. There are conditions for increasing the effectiveness of the catalytic coating suspension through microprocessor control of the technological process. The catalytic materials are deposited by vacuum magnetron sputtering as multilayered nanosized coatings on the proton exchange membrane.

The results of previous projects, such as hydrogen tank, hydrogen fuel cell and others are the basis for building intelligent decentralized energy systems (IDES).
Natural extension of the topic research is an approved project for scientific research work, co-funded by the National Innovation Fund with coordinator Technovacsystem LTD. Project activity includes developing of IDES for conversion and storage of energy based on hydrogen.
IDES used in household and light land and water transport are developed. Depending on the application and conditions of service they are trained and adapted in accordance with the user`s requirements.

     

For the needs of the serial manufacture in the field of the heavy equipment industry, the automotive industry and for products with complex configuration, technologies and vacuum furnaces for carrying out the PIM and MIM processes are developed.

     
 

In the period 2004-2006 Technovacsystem Ltd. developed and implemented vacuum system and technology for welding of diamond and CBN tools. The main use of the development is in the field of tool production. To increase the performance of the instruments wear-resistant antiadhesive multilayered nanosized coatings are deposited by electrical arc vacuum evaporation.

 
     

Having in mind the increasing share of research activities and the EU's requirements towards the operational program "Competitiveness", Experimentalika LTD was purposefully created. The company is intended to serve the development of Technovacsystem LTD. To solve important problems in the field of machine-building industry and to protect the environment in 2008 Experimentalika Ltd. signed a contract for financing according to the scheme for starting innovative companies' creation, connected to OP Competitiveness.

Because of the continuously growing interest in the activities of Technovacsystem Ltd. by the network of manufacturing enterprises, it is necessary to build a technological park, which naturally to link science and production and solve arising technological problems of science applying and applying nature.

     

Technological park includes an already built Technology center for surface and volume processing in a vacuum (TC SVPMV) and a new Technology centre in building process for IDES.
TC SVPV develops the following basic directions:
- deposition of multilayered multycomponent wear-resistant and corrosion-resistant nanosized coatings
- heat treatment and chemical heat treatment
- sintering and powder metallurgical products
- diamond tools and CBN tools brazing
In the TC for IDES components for hydrogen energetic, energy systems based on renewable energy sources and others are developed.
Technological Park fulfills the Technovacsystem Ltd. `s strategic goal to reduce emissions by reducing energy needs of the technologies and facilities developed in the TC POOMV to and through the introduction of hydrogen as an energy source in households, transport and industry.
