Applications

The vacuum furnace is designed for quenching products made of structural and tool steel in oil. The furnace can be used for heat treatment and chemical-heat treatment (carburizing, nitriding, nitrocarburizing, carbonitriding) . The equipment provides a possibility by one charging to run consecutively hardening and tempering processes. Without necessitating repeatedly reiteration of the operations - transportation and charging, which are typical for the conventional methods for heat treatment.

 Construction

The furnace is of vertical type and comprises:
✓ heating module;
✓ cooling module located under the heating module;
✓ sliding screens separating the heating of the cooling zone;
✓ vacuum pump system;
✓ power supply and a control unit;
✓ gas introducing system;
✓ water-cooling system.
