Heat-treatment and chemical heat-treatment

Heat treatment and chemical heat-treatment in a vacuum is preferred over conventional, because of:
✓ absence of decarburization and the chemical composition of the surface layer of the heat-treated workpieces is retained;
✓ absence of oxidation, which means the surfaces remain clean and maintains or improves its surface roughness;
✓ the deformations are reduced substantially;
✓ remove (at most cases) of the omissions for finishing machining of the workpieces as a result of the above advantages;
✓ absence of waste products, which means the production does not pollute the environment.
